The Cheap Date Guide To Style

Today I picked up the book The Cheap Date Guide To Style by Kira Jolliffe & Bay Garnett. The cover caught my eye…a simple photograph of a girl making a pose in a no-name vintage dress and lace up oxford shoes. This is not the type of style guide to tell you to wear a LBD and pearls, it’s for those of us who appreciate style without rules. There are quotes about style, candid photographs, pictures of thrift finds, and interviews with icons like Chloe Sevingny, etc. This may just be a perfect Christmas gift to ask for or to give this year.
