Locally where I live there was a heart breaking story in the newspaper concerning animal cruelty. 46 animals were rescued including horses, one of which was estimated about 200 pounds underweight! The Wood County Humane society does not put animals down to sleep, they provide care and see through to it that the animals receive love. They are in desperate need of donations and volunteers right now, especially after this influx of new needy animals. If there is any amount you can spare, even $5, please don’t hesitate to donate.
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers! Live in Detroit July 22, 2010
There in front of me last night was freakn’ rock legend, TOM PETTY (!) singing Mary Jane’s Last Dance! Heck yes! It was an incredible show, not one song I didn’t love! Every song was classic! (He did not play Honey Bee though which was a bummer, but I’m ok with it.) I was happy to see that lead guitarist, Mike Campbell, was doing much better after collapsing on stage at a recent show.
