Mew mew mew!

This is “Evi”! She was recently adopted from the humane society, and has found a lovely life for herself chasing a velvet Christmas bow on a name tag lanyard. Currently she’s really into “neck jumping”, a game we figured out this weekend. Trust me, when you are on the floor and the cat jumps over your face it’s a rush! She is a darling little kitty…so sweet!

My Marie Antoinette Halloween Costume (part 3)

I am excited to say I finished my Marie Antoinette Halloween costume! (if you missed it, here is part 1 and part 2)

As for the accessories…

I picked up this white and gold lace fan at a store called Halloween USA

I bought these stockings from sockdreams.com

I got this petticoat off ebay

I found this bracelet I had totally forgotten about…I got it years ago at an antique store

These Irregular Choice shoes I already owned

and here is the wig…still in progress!

Next? Make a king Louis XVI costume for my boyfriend!

Marie Antoinette Halloween Costume (Part 2)

As I said in part 1, I wanted to make my own Marie Antoinette Halloween costume, and so far it’s going well! I am having a delightful time making this fancy little thing! Here is an update of what I have done so far:

Also, the wig came and I got a pink ostrich feather and some little pink roses to glue into it. I am probably going to hunt for a few more things to put in it, and I will post it all when I am done.
