Happy Thanksgiving!

I give thanks to the Lord because…

I have loving parents…who are still married…who are the most generous and honest people I know

I have a brother with a heart of pure gold

I have a loving boyfriend….who gives me foot rubs at random…who has stayed by me when I’m hard to love

I have warmth, clean water, and can acquire healthy food with ease

I have an income even in a tough economic time

I live in a country where, as of this day, I am able to speak freely, worship freely, and dress in clothing I like.

I am not, currently, living in a “nanny state” society, I still have freedom.

I have eyes that see, ears that hear, a mind that can soak up knowledge, hair, hands, legs, arms, etc..

I can walk, even though they said I wouldn’t be able to when I was born b/c my feet were curved inward

I have kind people in my life who bring me happiness

I have had most of my dreams come true already, and am assured more will follow

In 24 years I have never broken a bone, and I have a healthy body that can run, work, and enjoy every day.

I am also thankful my family and friends are in good health.

I have gifts and talents unique to me, so that I may feel I can contribute in some way

I have a kitty to make me smile

I have a car, a computer, the internet, a camera, and some cute shoes and outfits

I did not die in the car crash when I was 16.

I am happy and content because He who is in me is greater than that which is in the world!
